Callcenters pay attention! Discover 7 ways to find new customers
As a callcenter you help companies with finding and onboarding new customers. But how do you find new customers for your own company? Data can help you with that. How? We have listed seven ways for you.
1. Take a look at your existing customers
Call centers are often good at serving companies from one or more specific sectors. For example, in the Manufacturing, Automotive or Personal Services. To find new customers in these sectors, it is interesting to know in which exact sector code and company size they are registered. Often in this branch code are the companies that you are so skilled to work with as a call center. The so-called look-a-likes.
BoldData can make a simple analysis of your current customer base free of charge. You get insight into the most important sectors and company sizes. And can then select the look a likes from there.
2. Find companies that do international business
The Dutch market is small. Target groups are often called in a short period of time. Add to this that the do-not-call-me-register continues to grow. A project therefore becomes more attractive if a company operates international. The volumes are higher and the projects are more comprehensive. So look for companies that do international business!
BoldData can select companies that export to a certain country, which have multiple branches abroad or have a multilingual website.
3. Approach growing companies
Seems logical, but is often forgotten. It is likely that if a company grows in number of employees and turnover, a lot is invested in sales and in finding new customers.
BoldData can select companies that have achieved strong growth in the past year.
4. Welcome new neighbors
Each month an average of 200,000 companies relocate their office in Europe. These companies are often looking for new suppliers or ways to find customers in their new region. It can be interesting to see which large companies have been added monthly or weekly around the location of your call center.
BoldData can select relocated companies based on week, month, region, number of employees, industry and turnover – all over Europe.
Startups are often forgotten because they have no budget for expensive campaigns. However, this does not always have to be the case. Starting companies have proven to be a great target group because you can grow with them as a call center and because they often have little experience with outbound calling. There are more than 100,000 startup companies in the Netherlands! Therefore find the starters in the surroundings of your call center and in the sector in which you are specialized (see point 1).
BoldData can select startups based on week, month, region, number of employees, sector and turnover.
6. Sales vacancies
If companies have sales related vacancies open, it means that they are willing to invest in their sales department. In other words: an ideal lead for call centers! Because the sales department needs appointments. You can of course look at the vacancies on the website. Or you can check with a keyword selection whether there are sales vacancies. BoldData can make selections of companies that have vacancies open. Such as ‘account manager’ and ‘sales manager’ based on week, month, region, number of employees, sector and turnover.
7. Do not welcome everyone
Sales campaigns require a substantial investment. Be sensible and exclude companies with a high risk profile. These are companies that have requested a postponement of payment, have made a restart or are known for poor payment experiences. BoldData can exclude bad paying companies from your selection.
