This Company Database Denmark is continuously updated by various sources. The main sources are:
- The National Company Register (CVR)
CVR is the Danish Government main business information register and contains information about all companies in Denmark.
All Danish companies are required to have a CVR number, but with one exception: if a company has a turnover of less than DKK 50,000 on a yearly basis, it is voluntary whether you want to register the company.
CVR contains information’s on 770 000 Active Businesses and 77 000 Branches, (incl. Greenland and Faroe Islands) – All with a CVR number (branches are linked to HQ office CVR Number).
The CRV data is updated/sent daily. Source website: www.cvr.dk
Telephone numbers are collected from TDC – the source for all telephone companies in Denmark. The coverage is 70% and the phone numbers are daily updated.
Other sources are Danish Telco providers, The Danish Post and official databases from Statistics Denmark (SSB). So In short: the quality and accuracy are outstanding. However, a mailing list can never be 100% up-to-date. For example, a contact that has been checked last week can have a new job the next week. Therefore you need to take a small error rate into account.
